We are learning how to write a recount.
Botanical Gardens.
As we arrived at Botanical Gardens it felt peaceful and quiet. But it was exciting because I could hear birds as we walked in.
At first I thought it was sound effects, but then all of a sudden I see these birds flying out of the trees. Some of them had a very high pitch squeak. I am very fascinated in birds, because there is a whole variety of them. I am also fascinated with trees because they all do different things like grow flowers for the birds, make air for us to breath, and to take care of the wildlife.
At the Botanical Gardens there are heaps of trees so we can breath better.
I reckon it’s a quiet place because it’s just soothing with the ponds the statues the buildings and the fields. I enjoyed planting my Kawakawa and my Harakeke, but I really adored the area around where we were planting.
It was astounding with the all the different herbs smells.

ReplyDeleteI like the way you have set out your work and used your punctuation correctly. Your story would be a lot better if it was longer so you can draw people into your story.Your story reminds me of a lot of memories when I went to Botanical Gardens with all my friends including you.Did you know if you sit down and be quiet for about 1 to 5 minutes you will a lot of different fascinating birds around you.
